third times a.. charm?

I have been absolutely horrible at documenting this pregnancy. I don't take pictures, I don't journal my progress... nada. It's my third baby, and although it's a very exciting time, it's nothing different than the other pregnancies and to be completely honest I'm pretty miserable and who wants to hear about that?! Haha.

We're counting down the days until this little guy makes his appearance! We are all so anxious to meet him. To see what his cute little face looks like. How much hair is going to be on his head. If he's going to have a little button nose like his big brother and sister. SO much wonder!

I haven't gained much weight this pregnancy. Not sure why, but every time I go into the doctor it shocks me to hear my weight gain because I feel like I've gained SO much. I missed my last appointment which was two weeks ago so it's been about a month since I've been. I got on the scale and it is one pound higher. What in the world. The baby HAS to be growing because my belly sure is. Lol!

Pregnancy is pretty hard on a body! My first was a piece of cake. Never complained about anything! Oh, except for the baby born at 28 weeks! With Jentri, all was great. Besides I felt like a cow and I had heart burn to the extreme. I thought it was just a *girl* thing since I didn't have it with Jackson.. but around 20 weeks with Jagger, the heart burn crept up. And you bet it's still here. Horrible as ever. The past week has been the worst- tums don't help anymore and it's been so bad that it wakes me up in the middle of the night. What 9 month pregnant woman wants to be woken up in the middle of the night? I mean, it takes me 3 hours to get my legs to relax and finally fall asleep! Yes, I have the worst case of restless legs. For a little while I was drinking a little bit of tonic water and it helped but not for very long. It's extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. Heartburn, restless legs, and an uncontrollable bladder.. yikes.

Point of the post was this:

I have had so much to complain about this pregnancy. I can hardly handle it anymore! But I am so grateful for the privilege and opportunity to witness the amazing growth of this baby boy inside of my body! Even though it is so hard, sometimes I just lay here and watch my little guy kick and move and it amazes me... He gets the hiccups ALL the time now and my belly moves with each and every one. It's so cute. Pregnancy really is a miracle. It's beautiful and amazing and I shouldn't complain about how terrible I feel all of the time... I should be thankful that I have the body that is able to nurture and help this baby grow during these 40 weeks and come into this world ready to live life.  :)

Only a few more weeks and we get to meet my little baby Jagger. :) I can't wait!

  1. My friend told me to drink a few gulps of milk before bed and it totally helps with the heartburn! I don't like milk, but I do it anyway because heartburn is the worst! I'm so excited for you :)
