New neighborhood, new friends...

A few weeks ago we packed up our lovely little house and made a move! It's been really bittersweet for me because I grew up in the house we were living in.
I cherished every memory made there.
My Dad made fixes to the house.
He slept with me in the same room that my babies got to sleep in for the last year and a half.
BUT..
It was time for change.
We really wanted to buy but hopefully that will happen once our lease is up here... which is only 4 months away! Yep, we only got to sign a 4 month lease.
Kind of hard to get comfortable when I know I'm going to be packing up here shortly again.
Anyway-- Jackson had a couple of neighbor friends at our last home so when we moved he was pretty bummed that he wasn't going to have any friends.
I was too. I felt terrible.
I knew of a couple of kids around the block that he could play with so I figured that would work.
A couple days later, on our nightly stroll with miss Jentri, I saw some little kids playing chalk just a few houses down. I was PUMPED! Lol.
I told Marc he had to go talk to them for me.
Soo... we approached the house and he said "HI."
Yep, that was it. Haha.
So I had to dig deep in my little heart and start a conversation on my own.
And boy am I glad I did!
Jackson now has two little best friends, Logan and Lydia.
Cutest kids ever.
They have a little sister that is Jentri's age, her name is Lucy.
We haven't met her yet... but we will.
Their Mom, Jamie, is pretty awesome too.
I'm so glad to have found great neighbors.
They are always together when we get home from work..
Chalk, riding bikes, playing in the sand down the street, and the other night they even had Jax over for a bon-fire. :)

A few days after we met these kiddos, another two little girls came to meet Jackson.
I couldn't believe how shy he was being!
Little stinker.
They are also super cute.
Kenidee and Kambree.
They always want to play with the chalk.
Good thing I told the Easter Bunny to bring lots. ;)

The two sister's came over yesterday to play and Jentri wanted to jump right in.
It was hilarious.
She kept saying "HI!" and pointing to the dog and saying "No, No, No!"
Then she'd walk over to the girls and give them a kiss on the head. Haha..
They didn't know what to do. They just said "Ohh... hehe... she's really cute."
And that she is. :)
