Mama Day

This is my fourth Mother's Day. :) I honestly feel like the luckiest Mama around! We woke up this morning and came straight to Grandma's for breakfast. (I'm still in my PJ's! All of us are, actually!) Both of my kids and I have been miserably sick the last couple of days and last night was the worst. I was up all night with a crying little girl. I sat there at 5AM and thought- "This is what life is all about." And it truly is! There is nothing in this world that I would rather be doing than sitting there with my kiddos at any time of the day or night. Even though there was runny noses, choking coughs, cries, and naps today... it was the best Mother's Day yet! I love you, Jackson and Jentri! So so much and I am glad that you chose me to be your Mama. I hope that I am able to show and teach you strenth, peace, happiness, self confidence, laughter, tears, hope, trust and many more things. You two brighten my world and I look forward to watching you grow into beautiful little people. XOXOXO!






Jax went with his Dad for an hour and brought me back a rose. What a little sweetie. :)




We made Grandma a hand print flower picture. I am in love. I need one now! I am so grateful that I grew up with such an amazing Mother, and now it's my turn to give my kids the life that I had. She amazes me in everything she does. She is strong, brave, intelligent, beautiful inside and out. She is the greatest Grandma around! My kids absolutely love her. I am so glad we only live two blocks away from each other. :)



Thank you, Mom! For always being there for me through the good and bad times. You have supported me in all of my choices, whether you agreed or not. You always know exactly what to do or say to pull me out of a bad mood and even though sometimes you drive me crazy, I wouldn't ask for anything more or less! Thank you for dealing with me for the last 20 years. We love you so much!
