Jackson asked me if he could go play at the neigbors house(they always play), so I went out to make sure it was okay and it was..
So he opened the gate, started walking, turned back and gave me a kiss, waved and said BYE MOM! and was on his way. I stared at him walking away and cried.
How did I get so lucky?
What did I do to deserve the love of a child?
I don't know, but I thank my lucky stars every day for giving me the opportunity that some people don't get.
This was a few weeks before I went into labor. Probably around 25 or 26 weeks.
It seems like it was yesterday that I laid my hands upon my baby boy for the first time.
Then he came home...
And he turned one..
Then two..
Then three..
AND NOW LOOK AT HIM!!
I can't believe I have a 3.5 year old who is off to Preschool in September.. Where does time go? I just want to cuddle up with him and never let go!
