I know I'm not the only person that woke up today with the same feelings I had ten years ago when those terrorists attacked our Country.

Looking at pictures and videos brings back the same tears I cried that day..
I was getting ready for school- I remember walking into the front room and my Mom was just sobbing. I couldn't believe this would happen. The world stopped spinning that day.

Children, Mothers, Husbands, Fathers, Cousins, Friends, and Neighbors, all lost their lives that day.
Total number of people killed in attacks: 2,819
Number of firefighters and paramedics killed: 343
Number of NYPD officers: 23
Number of Port Authority police officers: 37
Number of WTC companies that lost people: 60
Number of employees that died in tower one: 1,402
Number of employees that died in tower two: 614
People wake up every day missing their loved ones that they swiftly said goodbye to that morning, without knowing it would be their last...

I can only imagine the fear those people felt that were just seconds away from those towers. Some people were able to walk away with ache in their hearts and fear in their bodies, and some people jumped out of the towers unsure of what else to do.
Hunderds of people were made heroes that day.
We tend to forget to be grateful for our Freedom. We don't appreciate it every day. But I am grateful for days of Rememberance to remind me of what we all have.
Our Country came together... and we hold together.
I hope we all take a moment to remember the American's that sacrificed their lives that day, and the ones who still serve Our Country to this day.
I can't help but think of Jordan when I think about heroes and freedom.
He gave it all.
Thank you Jordan, and all of the other Soldiers out there.
I am proud to be an American.
{9-11} will forever be REMEMBERED.
